Quick and Easy Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Chicken boneless - thigh fillets
  • Medium-sized tomatoes
  • Medium-sized onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried coriander powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 3 tablespoons clarified butter (desi ghee)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic-ginger paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • Finely chopped green chillies
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves

Instructions:

  1. Start by cutting the chicken into small pieces.
  2. Chop the tomatoes and onions into long slices.
  3. In a pan, heat 3 tablespoons of clarified butter (desi ghee) on medium flame.
  4. Add the sliced onions and fry them until they become golden brown.
  5. Add the chicken pieces to the pan along with the fried onions and mix well. Fry for 2-3 minutes until the chicken is well-coated with the onions.
  6. Add 1/4 teaspoon of garlic-ginger paste and continue to fry for another 2 minutes.
  7. In a separate pan, dry roast 1/2 teaspoon of dried coriander powder and 1/4 teaspoon of cumin powder. Once roasted, grind them to a coarse powder.
  8. Add the ground spice powder to the chicken and mix well. Fry for a minute to enhance the flavors.
  9. Reduce the flame and add 1/4 cup of cream. Mix well and let it cook for 30 minutes.
  10. Finally, add the remaining clarified butter (desi ghee) according to your preference, finely chopped green chillies, and coriander leaves. Mix well.
